This set, which belonged to the lineage of the Glaoui pashas, is composed of 2 entrances: one next to the service door of the Royal Palace, the other by the derb along the wall of the palace, ending in a private courtyard. The floor area is 526 m² and the built complex represents approximately 1300 m² of living space, it is composed of several reception rooms and 7 ensuite bedrooms. A solarium terrace and a private hammam allow delicious moments of relaxation after having criss-crossed the effervescent medina of Marrakesh.

Situation

Like most old Moroccan cities, the medina of Marrakesh is surrounded by ramparts that spatially delimit the old city from the new. This wall is pierced by several more or less monumental gates. The districts of the medina can bear the name of the neighboring door, of a zaouia, of a mausoleum, of a mosque, of a palace or of a cemetery located there, of a circulation axis, or a traditional name. The medina of Marrakech also hosts the souks of Marrakesh.
